PiqPair Privacy and Cookie Policy

Last Updated: August 5, 2026

This Privacy and Cookie Policy explains how Younger LLC, 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 19707, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA (“PiqPair,” “Younger,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use PiqPair, our online image tool for compressing, converting, resizing, cropping, background removal, and metadata cleaning.

The core design principle of PiqPair: we do not store your images. Tools that use our servers (compression, conversion, resizing) process images in memory for the duration of a single request and never write them to disk. Tools that run in your browser (cropping, metadata cleaning, background removal) never send your image to us at all.

By using PiqPair, you acknowledge this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information.

Images You Process

Images you process may contain personal information if they show people, faces, locations, documents, property, metadata, or other identifying details.

Images sent to our servers (for compression, conversion, or resizing) are processed in memory only for the duration of your request and are discarded immediately afterward — they are never written to disk, never logged, and never retained. We also do not store your filenames. Images processed by in-browser tools (cropping, metadata cleaning, background removal) never leave your device.

Account Information

Accounts are optional — every free tool works without one. If you create an account, we collect your email address, your sign-in method (one-time email code or Google), your subscription tier, your saved preferences and settings, account timestamps, and account status. You may optionally add your name and a profile picture; both are stored with your account until you change or remove them. Standard accounts are passwordless; where a password is used (staff accounts), it is stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider, optionally protected by two-factor authentication.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to PiqPair Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer reference and your subscription state (plan, billing interval, renewal date, payment status). Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our systems. Invoices and receipts are issued through Stripe.

Technical and Usage Data

Our servers see standard request data (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for rate limiting, security, and abuse prevention. We additionally keep aggregated usage counters — how often each tool was used per day, per tier — which contain no per-user or per-image detail. We currently use no third-party analytics.

Communications

If you contact us, we may collect your email address, name, message content, attachments, and any other information you provide.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate, secure, improve, and measure the service.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide image compression, resizing, and background removal.
  • Generate previews and downloadable results.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve PiqPair.
  • Detect errors, abuse, automated attacks, fraud, and misuse.
  • Manage accounts, subscriptions, payments, invoices, and support.
  • Respond to inquiries and customer service requests.
  • Analyze performance, usage, and product quality.
  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Protect the rights, safety, and security of users, PiqPair, Younger LLC, and others.

3. Image Retention

There is none for the images you process. Images processed on our servers exist only in memory during your request and are discarded when the response is sent. Images processed in your browser are never transmitted to us. PiqPair keeps no copies, no thumbnails, no filenames, and no download links. The single exception is an account profile picture you explicitly choose to upload, which is stored until you replace or remove it.

4. Use of Images for Training

We do not use your uploaded images to train public AI models or image-processing models unless we clearly disclose this and obtain consent where required by law.

We may use anonymized, aggregated, or technical performance data to improve the service, provided it does not identify you or your images.

5. Image Metadata

Uploaded images may contain metadata, including EXIF data, camera details, timestamps, geolocation, device identifiers, color profiles, and other embedded information.

PiqPair may remove, alter, or reduce metadata during compression, resizing, or background removal. However, we do not guarantee that all metadata will be removed. You should remove sensitive metadata before uploading if this is important to you.

6. Legal Bases for International Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction requiring a legal basis for processing, we process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract, to provide the service you request.
  • Legitimate interests, such as operating, securing, improving, and preventing abuse of PiqPair.
  • Consent, where required for cookies, marketing, or certain processing.
  • Legal obligation, where required by law.
  • Protection of rights, safety, and security.

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

7. Sharing Information

We may share information with:

Service Providers

We may use third-party providers for hosting, cloud storage, image processing, AI infrastructure, analytics, payments, email, customer support, security, logging, and technical operations.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us, subject to their terms and applicable data protection requirements.

Payment Providers

If you purchase a paid service, payment information may be processed by third-party payment processors.

Legal and Safety Recipients

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, regulator request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, property, users, or the public.

Business Transfers

If Younger LLC or PiqPair is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

With Your Direction

We may share information when you ask us to do so or give consent.

8. We Do Not Sell Your Images

We do not sell your uploaded images.

We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. Because no personal information is sold, shared for cross-context advertising, or used for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of. If we ever introduce such technologies, we will update this Policy and provide an opt-out first.

9. Cookies and Local Storage

PiqPair uses only strictly necessary storage:

Essential

If you sign in, your session tokens are kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages, governed by Stripe's policies.

Preferences

Tool settings you choose may be remembered in your browser and, if you have an account, in your account settings.

We use no analytics cookies and no marketing cookies. Because only strictly necessary storage is used, PiqPair does not show a cookie consent banner. You can clear all locally stored data at any time through your browser settings.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no system is completely secure. You should not upload images that contain highly sensitive, confidential, illegal, or extremely private content unless you are comfortable with the risks of online processing.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service operation, account management, payments, support, legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution.

Retention periods vary depending on the data type. Image files are never retained at all, as described above. Account data is deleted when you delete your account; billing records may be retained longer where tax or accounting law requires.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Request a copy of your data.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of marketing emails.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where applicable.
  • File a complaint with a data protection authority.

You can delete your account — including your email, settings, and subscription state — directly from your account page at any time. For other requests, contact us at:

Email: piqpair@gmail.com (subject line “Privacy request”)

We may need to verify your identity before responding.

13. California and US State Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California or another US state with applicable privacy rights, you may have additional rights, including access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out of sale or sharing, opt-out of targeted advertising, and limitation of certain sensitive personal information.

In the past 12 months, we may have collected the categories of information described in this Policy and shared them with the categories of recipients described above for business or operational purposes.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of children under 16.

We do not sell or share personal information as defined by these laws, so no “Do Not Sell or Share” mechanism is required. To exercise any other right, email piqpair@gmail.com.

14. Children

PiqPair is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will review and delete it where appropriate.

If you are in a jurisdiction with a higher minimum age, you must meet that age requirement or use the service only with appropriate parental or guardian consent.

15. International Transfers

Younger LLC is based in the United States. If you use PiqPair from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

These countries may have privacy laws different from your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

16. Third-Party Links

PiqPair may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, security, or content. You should review their policies before using them.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of PiqPair after changes are posted means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
