PiqPair Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PiqPair, a website and online image-processing tool operated by Younger LLC, 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 19707, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA (“PiqPair,” “Younger,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

PiqPair provides image tools including:

1. Compressing PNG and JPG image files while aiming to preserve visible quality and resolution, including compression toward a chosen target file size.
2. Converting images between PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, and HEIC formats.
3. Resizing images to custom pixel dimensions.
4. Cropping, straightening, flipping, and padding images.
5. Removing image backgrounds and applying background, shadow, and outline effects.
6. Inspecting and removing image metadata (such as EXIF, XMP, and IPTC data).

Some tools process images on our servers in memory; others (such as cropping, metadata cleaning, and background removal) run entirely in your browser.

By using PiqPair, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The Service

PiqPair is an online tool that allows users to upload images and process them for compression, resizing, and/or background removal. The service may be offered as a free tool, paid tool, subscription product, credit-based product, API, or any combination of these.

We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

2. No Guarantee of Perfect Results

PiqPair aims to reduce image file size, resize images, and remove backgrounds efficiently, but we do not guarantee that every result will be perfect, error-free, visually identical to the original, suitable for professional production, or compatible with every platform.

Compression or resizing may alter image metadata, file characteristics, or visual details. Upscaling may soften fine detail, and resizing with the aspect ratio unlocked may stretch an image. Background removal may be imperfect, especially for complex edges, hair, transparent objects, reflections, shadows, low-resolution images, or unclear foreground/background separation.

You are responsible for reviewing all processed images before using, publishing, printing, selling, or distributing them.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to use PiqPair. If you use PiqPair on behalf of a business, agency, organization, or client, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

4. Your Images and Ownership

You retain ownership of the images you upload to PiqPair.

By uploading images, you grant PiqPair and Younger LLC a limited, temporary, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, modify, transmit, and display the images solely as necessary to provide the requested service, operate the platform, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not claim ownership of your uploaded or processed images.

5. Your Responsibility for Uploaded Content

You are solely responsible for the images and content you upload, process, download, or share using PiqPair.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own the images or have all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to upload and process them.
• Your use of the images does not infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, contractual, or other rights.
• You have permission to process images containing identifiable people where such permission is required.
• Your use of PiqPair complies with applicable laws.

6. Prohibited Content and Uses

You may not use PiqPair to upload, process, create, distribute, or assist with content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, exploitative, or violates the rights of others.

Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

• Child sexual abuse material or any sexualized content involving minors.
• Non-consensual intimate images or image manipulation.
• Harassment, stalking, doxxing, threats, blackmail, or impersonation.
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Fraud, scams, deceptive advertising, or false identity documents.
• Malware, phishing, evasion of platform rules, or technical abuse.
• Illegal surveillance, unauthorized biometric identification, or privacy-invasive use.
• Hate, extremist, or violent content where prohibited by law.
• Any use that overloads, disrupts, scrapes, reverse engineers, or attacks the service.

We may block, remove, refuse to process, suspend, or terminate access if we believe content or usage violates these Terms or creates legal, technical, or reputational risk.

7. Image Storage and Deletion

PiqPair does not store your images. Images sent to our servers for compression, conversion, or resizing exist only in memory for the duration of a single request and are discarded as soon as the response is sent; they are never written to disk. Tools that run in your browser (such as cropping, metadata cleaning, and background removal) never transmit your image to us at all.

Because nothing is stored, there are no download links to revisit and no server-side copies to delete. You should not use PiqPair as storage of any kind. Always keep your own backup copies.

8. Metadata

Compression, resizing, or background removal may remove, alter, or reduce image metadata, including EXIF data, geolocation data, camera information, color profile information, timestamps, or other embedded metadata.

Do not rely on PiqPair to preserve metadata unless we expressly provide that option.

9. Accounts

The free tools work without an account. Some features require an account, which you create by signing in with a one-time email code or with Google — PiqPair does not use passwords. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep the email account you sign in with secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, abuse the service, or fail to pay applicable fees. You may delete your account at any time from your account page.

10. Subscriptions and Billing (PiqPair Pro)

PiqPair Pro is a paid subscription that raises usage limits and unlocks premium features (such as larger batches, larger files, additional formats, and advanced background tools). Current pricing is shown on the pricing page and at checkout — at the time of writing, USD 5.99 per month or USD 49 per year.

• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Subscriptions are charged in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.
• You can cancel at any time through the billing portal on your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep Pro access until then. Partial periods are not refunded except where required by law.
• If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it; if payment cannot be collected, Pro access ends after the period you already paid for. Your account and the free tools remain available.
• We may change prices with reasonable advance notice. Changes take effect at your next renewal, and you can cancel before they apply.
• Promotional prices and codes apply once per account unless the offer states otherwise.
• You are responsible for applicable taxes, currency conversion fees, and payment provider charges shown at checkout.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable withdrawal, cancellation, or refund right granted to you by mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence. If you are entitled to such a right, contact us at piqpair@gmail.com.

11. API and Automated Use

If we provide API access or allow automated processing, you must comply with our technical limits, documentation, fair-use rules, and security requirements.

You may not use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or automated systems to overload, bypass, resell, reverse engineer, or abuse the service without our written permission.

12. Intellectual Property of PiqPair

PiqPair, including its website, software, interface, design, logo, name, technology, workflows, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by Younger LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from PiqPair except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

13. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, bug reports, feature ideas, or improvement requests, you grant Younger LLC the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

14. Third-Party Services

PiqPair may use third-party providers for hosting, storage, image processing, artificial intelligence, analytics, payments, email, security, and other infrastructure.

We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, tools, content, outages, security issues, or terms.

15. DMCA and Copyright Complaints

If you believe content processed or made available through PiqPair infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to:

Your notice should include the information required by applicable copyright law, including identification of the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement made under penalty of perjury, and your signature.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PiqPair is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, compatible with every file, free of data loss, or suitable for your specific purpose.

You use PiqPair at your own risk.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Younger LLC, PiqPair, and their owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages.

This includes damages related to image quality, file loss, data loss, business interruption, failed uploads, processing errors, third-party claims, intellectual property disputes, or unauthorized use of your images.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to PiqPair shall not exceed the amount you paid to PiqPair during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100 if you did not pay for the service.

18. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Younger LLC, PiqPair, and their owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your uploaded images.
• Your use or misuse of PiqPair.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of law.
• Your infringement of third-party rights.
• Your use of processed images.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PiqPair at any time if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, create legal risk, fail to pay, or use the service in a harmful way.

You may stop using PiqPair at any time.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of PiqPair after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes shall be handled in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, USA.
